I took this photo while on a hike during spring break a few weeks ago. As I look at it today, it is a picture of how we are all feeling during this virus epidemic-uprooted and exposed. Life has drastically changed and it’s making us all feel fearful and defeated.
Encouraging words from Kevin DeYoung: “We all have moments where we fear the unknown. The fact of the matter is our worries may come true, but God will never be untrue to us. We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know who holds the future. God will always lead us, always listen to us, and always love us in Christ. While no one enjoys the uncertainty of these days, we still have every reason to rejoice in God, our heavenly Father. We have an opportunity in trying times to speak of the love of Christ and demonstrate our hope in Christ.”
