I became aware of Ruthie Staalsen Interiors from a friend who utilized her design services for her own 'whole home remodel'.
I followed Ruthie on social media for several years and was convinced her design style would meet my expectations. After our initial consultation, it was apparent she "saw my vision". However, her skills were not limited to the 'window dressing' of interior spaces, she assisted with contractor interviews, as well as, monitoring the construction process to ensure we ended up with a "new house feel" in a "decades old" home.

Ruthie came alongside us during the extensive decision making process as we gutted our home and started over--from room design, layout and construction; to baseboards, doors, wall texture and paint color, wallpaper, flooring, tile, lighting, cabinetry and hardware, as well as, confirmation of faucet and fixture choices--- SO MANY DECISIONS! She also served us well in advocating for agreeable solutions when we had vendor issues.

ALL THAT BEFORE "putting the cherry on top" with our design installation. When we walked into our "NEW" house, I was overwhelmed with the atmosphere. I was immediately aware of how 'scale' and 'detail' matters--furnishings, draperies, and accessories -- all of it was exactly right!
